We just finished our size 2's (literally wearing the last one right now) and he's about 15lbs at 5 months. Good timing too, he's been having leaks the last few days.

We use Pampers, and switched to size 4's at 10 months and 20 pounds. 3's just started to seem too small. I was just looking at that today, amazed that 3's should still fit!

@bpcmarj: Wow u are playing with fire with the butt crack situation! I sadly gave away like 50 size 2s - I wanted to finish them but poopslosions dictated otherwise.

We do pampers when we do disposables and i think their range is 16-28 lbs. LO is around 22 and still doing really well in the 3s. She is a long skinny thing though so I think they look big on her sometimes. Last time I was at the store I think 4s start at 22 lbs so there is a lot of overlap depending on your baby and body type.

She is hovering around 20lbs, but once the bpx I have is done, we are moving to size 4. I remember thinking that the range was huge, too! They still have plenty og room in her waist, but aince she's long, they just barely cover her crack!

ETA: excuse my typos, on my phone and they are tough to edit!

My lo has been in 4s since 7 months. She's probably 18-19lbs max at 8.5months. I agree that the 3s weren't high enough up the back. She has room to grow with 4s, but no leaks since switching to them. They've been our best size yet, not one leak actually.

My LO is 28 lbs and in size 4s, and I sometimes think they seem small on him even though that's the lower end of the range. But like @sarbear says, he has a big belly that they have to accommodate.

20lbs and size 4! I think it might depend on where your baby 'carries' their weight? G has a little belly lol

DD was in size 4 diapers from about 10 months until she potty trained at 2.5 years old. DS is HUGE, probably pushing 25lbs and 11 months and in a size 4.

I feel like the biggest difference is how much waste the diaper can hold hahahaha, at least that is why I switched DS to a size 4.

I feel like my LO has a long crotch or something because at 16 lbs his poops already almost reach the top of his diaper. Or maybe he just has huge poop!

Supposedly they are from 16-23 or something pounds....that's a HUGE range, right? I feel like that's just false advertising. How could such a big baby wear size 3's?

If you have a bigger baby what size are they in? My son is around 16 lbs (guess) and is in size 3's.
