3T for shirts, 2T for pants. I prefer larger tees on DD and found that 2T and 3T fit about the same at the shoulder, I'd just need to roll up the sleeves a little. I think it's perfect for layering for fall/winter.

For summer, she wears her current size.

Definitely 3T. My son is tall and hefty and was in 4T for some things (tops) at that age.

To answer the question about growth, I feel like it is slow and steady. My son grew about 4 inches between age 2 and age 3.

3T. My LO is 23 pounds and in 3T for a lot of things. I'm good at shrinking stuff though ;)

3T, my LO is 30 lbs and about to turn 2. Most of the 2T stuff fits now, but probably won't for fall/winter.

3T. I started putting E in some 3T clothes a month or two ago (he just turned 2 yesterday and is in the mid-upper 90s--35ish lbs). They were a little big on him, but fit much better now.

My son is very similar size. 3T shirts fit him well now but his shoulders are wide. I'd much rather a little big for a bit than too small.

I voted 3t. My LO is up there in percentile as well and we had mostly 2t for right after she turned 2 in December. It fit the next few months but then all her pants got too short really fast and I have nothing for this winter.

That said, I bought 2t stuff last summer and it still fits how although some things are getting shorter. The biggest difference is that we potty trained so the shorts are not as right as when we had diapers to deal with.

Hope that helps!!

3T for sure. 3's were big on DD when she turned two...that was 2 months ago and now they fit better and I can only imagine, they'll fit a lot better in the fall/winter (she's in the 80th percentile for height/weight).

Buying my toddler boy clothes for fall/winter and debating on size. He just turned 2 and is in the 90+ percentile for weight and height. He weighs 32 lb now. I bought 3T and its big on him now. Mostly casual pants/tees for daycare. Ideally they would last through late March/early April when it starts to warm here. Would you stick with 3T or exchange for 2T? Do they grow quickly at this point? What's your experience?
