Just an update, I have been using this: http://www.belliskincare.com/pregnancy/anti--blemish-facial-wash.html and it's worked! I feel less like a pimply teenager!

I absolutely love Mario Bedescu's Enzyme Cleansing Gel. It is all natural and works wonders on my skin.

I've been lucky and my skin hasn't been bad with pregnancy, but I did switch to an Aveda daily scrub (like tiny scrubbing granules, not the rough kind like in the St. Ive's one). And you can use tea tree oil on blemishes, but honestly, I don't know how much that would help.

I agree with @Silva: about the face wash though-- so little stays on your skin that I bet it wouldn't be an issue. I just haven't needed it yet.

i would check with your doctor about salicylic acid- mine said that in a face wash its fine, because your skin absorbs so little of it. she also approved me to use it as a topical treatment occasionally (on painful zits).
That said, I've recently switched to some products from this company (the silica face wash and cranberry moisturizer): http://facerealityacneclinic.com/products.php

and its helping quite a bit. Also, try sulfur-based masks- doing one every night drastically cut down on my pimples.

I'm the kind of girl who usually needs prescription acne meds, but thankfully haven't been too broken out this pregnancy. I have been using Proactiv stuff w/benzoyl peroxide when I get spots...I don't use it often, maybe once a week or so. I believe there are lots of OTC topical meds with that as the main ingredient.

I've been dealing with this as well. I'm now 26 weeks along.
I've actually been washing my face with my anti dandruff shampoo as odd as that sounds. But, it works beautifully. I also use Clinique lotion religiously. And will only use that as my face lotion.

Hey ladies!

So, I am 10 weeks pregnant with our first little one! So exciting! But I have a question for you...

I have never had perfectly clear skin, especially in high school -- it was pretty bad. However, I've noticed that since I've had to substitute my regular facewash - Neutrogena - for a natural one with no salicylic acid (acne treatment), my skin has stayed pretty broken out. Much more than usual. I know that it is common for women to have more break-outs in their first trimester due to all the hormones, but I am wondering...have any of you found any facial cleansers, lotions, products that you absolutely love that have no salicylic acid? I currently use 'Yes to Carrots,' which I really like -- but it is not doing the trick for me. Just a curious bee. :)

Thanks for any suggestions!
