That being said I have known quite a few kids to skip that stage and you have nothing to lose by trying it. E went from her high chair to a regular chair at 22 months. She decided she was done with the high chair herself. She sits the whole meal and doesn't get up.</p> <p>The only part that's hard are the spills and crumbs...there's nothing to catch it. It was fine, he was just a little too low in the seat to really eat properly, and he could also just get out whenever he wanted! A thinks it's so cool to sit at the table with us so we currently have her high chair pulled up to it, but E will need to use it in a few months so I thought of just skipping the booster altogether, am I crazy? She will be a little over 2 at that point. </p>
