So I was going to have to miss our second Ultrasound (via surrogate). Devastated, I called my husband, and he suggested I skype in. Through the power of technology I was able to listen to his tiny heartbeat and watch little jazz hands flutter. There were many tears shed. I still wish I could have been there, but I am absolutely grateful that I wasn't completely absent. Also, how crazy is our world that any of this, surrogacy, Skype, is possible?
