My LO is almost 10 months. She takes 1 nap a day for about 2-2.5 hours. She nurses in the morning, then gets a bowl of Gerber oatmeal. She gets a 6oz bottle of breastmilk in the morning at daycare, then eats finger foods for lunch (we did BLW, so she eats what they serve the big kids), then another 6 oz bottle in the afternoon. I pick her up and feed her dinner when we get home (Table food), then we get ready for bed and she nurses for a few minutes before going down for the night.

We are down to one nap, 1:20, and maybe 50% or less of days also a catnap in the afternoon. 10-11 hrs overnight. Except now we are on a trip and its a little screwed up. Usually four bottles between 2 oz and 8 oz each.

Thanks everyone! I'll tell daycare to do their best with his naps. I don't mind him doing only one, but it can't be only 1.5 hours! He needs at least 2-3 hours of daytime sleep. And I'll try to up his bottle amount too. I was sending 4+ oz bottles and he was leaving a bunch in the bottles. Maybe that was just a phase?

I have a nagging suspicion that they're trying to "train" him to get ready for the toddler room. But he's still 2 months away and isn't showing *any* signs of walking, so I probably need to tell them to back off.

My LO is still taking two solid naps/day at 12 months. He naps for 1-1.5 hours in the a.m. and usually 2-2.5 hours during the afternoon.

At 11 months he had 3 meals/day of solids and received 3 bottles/day for a total of 19/20 ounces (he usually only drank about 16 oz. though, typically leaving a few ounces in his a.m. bottle). His a.m. bottle was 8 oz, dinner bottle 5 oz, and night bottle 6 oz.

My LO is taking two solid 1.5 hour naps at just shy of 11m. Some days if we're out it's only one nap but that usually affects nighttime sleep.

She gets 3 meals a day and nurses 3-4x a day

At that age my LO would only do 1 nap at daycare but was solidly on 2 at home. That night be the way it is for you - there's too much action at daycare!

He got 4 bottles a day at that time. Usually 5-6 oz each.

My LO has just dropped to one nap at a shade prior to ten months, she was pushing her second nap later and later and it was resulting in a late bedtime. Miss A now goes down for a nap at around 12pm and sleep for 1.5-3 hours which actually gives her more total sleep.

We switched to 1 nap right at a year old for the same reason, she fought the 2nd one like crazy.

My LO is 10.5 months. He takes 2 naps a day and they're pretty solid. Right now we're on vacation and he's taken just one nap a few days this weeks which makes me nervous! I hope that he goes back to his normal schedule once we get home.

He eats 3 meals and a snack every day and drinks 3 bottles with about 6 ounces each.

My LO is 11.5 months and is still solidly in the 2 naps a day mode. I don't think my LO could make it with just one nap without a melt down either in the morning or at night.

I nurse her in the morning (around 5 a.m.) and at night when I get home (around 5:30 p.m.), and she takes 3 5oz bottles during the day while I am at work (sometimes she leaves an ounce or two throughout the day). She also gets 2 solid meals a day, one around brunch, and the second for dinner.

So this is several questions. My son will be 11 months in a few weeks. His daycare says he really doesn't want to fall asleep for his 2nd nap and I've noticed that at home (although with work I can get him down and he sleeps for an hour+). Our pediatrician said he shouldn't go to 1 nap until a year or older. Do we keep him at two naps? Each is an hour and change. I'm afraid 1 nap will leave him with too little daytime sleep.

Secondary, how many bottles did your little one drink at 10-11 months? I'm said 3 bottles with 3.5-4 ounces each. Should I do 2 bottles with more in them?

I hate transition phases!!
