@littlejoy: No we didn't, but that is because LO often vomits up tylenol (I think she hates the taste) so we usually only use it for fevers. I think it's fine to use though. But you could ask your pediatrician.

@catlady: Did you do Tylenol or anything? We have some herbs, but I'm wondering if a nightly dose of Motrin might help (if it's teething).

We had sleep issues at 14 months, I think due to molars. Pretty much every time he has a sleep issue it turns out to be teething related.

Yes! We're still pushing through it at almost 15 months, but the past month has been rough between teething, separation, travel and random days when she just won't sleep but will wake up knowing like 10 new words! There's just so much going on at this age. You're not alone!

We went through a bad sleep patch around that time. Turned out to be top molars coming in. The bottom ones just came in over the past few weeks (17 months now) and we went through it again for about a week. Hope it passes soon!

C has gone through some really bad sleep phases since she turned one. I can't remember exactly when but it would just start up, last a week or two or three, then get back to normal. Sometimes it would be refusing naps. Sometimes it was waking up some time in the MOTN and being inconsolable unless Dh or I slept with her in the bed in her room. We went a week or so without actually sleeping in the same bed since one of us was always with her.

But... It always passes.

14 months is proving to be a beast in regards to sleep. She's actually doing better at night, but naps are really horrible. She didn't sleep at school today, and she's been crying in her room for 10 minutes now. Usually, she naps like a champ, and is asleep in 1 minute.

I know there are so many factors, but I'm wondering if a regression is common at this time? Growth spurt? Separation anxiety (not a problem, previously)? Teething?

Anyone else go through some crazy sleep issues around 14 months?
