So, we've been dealing with awful sleep for the past week due to roseola. LO (18 mos) was waking up at 1 and not going back to sleep till 4 or 5 and then only with soccer on and in my arms.

Her fever broke 2 days ago and she was back to her normal happy self during the day, but was still up all night. Last night, she woke up at 11:45, and I was going to do a little CIO, but decided to try having a little chat with her instead. I told her that it was nighttime, and that she needed to sleep at night and that I would see her in the morning. She nodded a couple of times and then laid right down and went to sleep. Didn't hear from her till 5, so I tried again and she went back to sleep till 6:30!!

I never would have thought it would work :)

Anyone else try this?
