I feel like E catches up on sleep on the weekends. He never naps well at daycare, but will take epic three hour naps on the weekends. He's a little older though, 9 months today.

"they" say that babies don't sleep like adults and "sleep begets sleep"... but i think it all depends on baby.

i do know for DS that his naps whether short or long doesn't affect his nighttime sleep... though he does nap longer if he's missed a nap during daytime!

LO didn't sleep a lot yesterday or the day before (he's 8 weeks and got 10 hours of sleep in 24 each day). He's sleeping a lot this morning (7 hours so far today). I'm kinda glad because I really needed to catch up on sleep. Do babies catch up on sleep like adults do, or am I in for a rough night tonight?
