@sorrycharlie: Hope last night was better! The only time I have heard of this was from my MIL. She said she had given my husband some medicine (steroid for asthma) and he was doing this. She said she took a dose herself and her heart raced.

so LO has had crawling mastered for about a month now (she's 10 months). she only had a period of a couple days of restless sleep because of it - where I'd lay her down and she'd sit back up, etc.

but last night she was sleep crawling. i could see her on the monitor with her eyes CLOSED, get up, crawl across her crib like a tiny drunk person and try to drag herself up the corner where she usually sits and waits for her to get her. then she'd stand up, sway a few times and fall (she's sleeping!), hit her head and cry.

I went in, laid her down, she fell asleep for 10 min and then repeated. ALL NIGHT.

a few times I managed to get in there and lay her down before she fell, and she stayed asleep. a few times, she was also mumbling and giggling under her breath. it was so bizarre.

is this a phase? or a one night thing? i hope a one night thing.
