We did not get the one that is split like @BunnyDragon so if I want to raise my head DH has to too, but so far that has been ok. I would do the split king if I was doing it over but I was worried about it feeling like two separate beds/ having a division between us . We love it! I'm not sure which model we have. It's one of the best choices my DH and I made. My DH had back surgery in early 20s and we went through 4 beds before our sleep number bed. It was a lot of money, but my DH was so miserable with backaches and poor sleep that I was willing to give this bed a shot. It's been worth every dollar. My DH sleeps great and hasn't complain about his back since we got it. I like it but DH thinks they are glorified air mattresses. I was considering getting one for LO's bed. I can't remember how much. I've had it for quite some time. DH says it makes his back hurt.
