Is her longest stretch usually 3 hours or has she gone longer? Does she fall asleep on her own? How many hours is it between her last nap and bedtime?

That's what DD does, but she also refuses to eat right before bed... absolutely hates it so she goes about 4-5 hours between her last feeding & first waking.

@mediagirl: I'd say that's normal. For awhile LO would wake up like clockwork at about 3 hours, and maybe 4 after that. Then for awhile it was one or the other, but not both.

However, he also kept one waking for a LONG time and didn't STTN to 12 months. But we never sleep trained.

I've taken some tips from this thread http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/are-we-setting-our-kids-up-for-failure-with-sleep-habits-by-having-two-working-parents
and started M's nighttime routine at 6pm. Depending on when her last nap was, she is asleep by 6:30 or 7. After she is asleep, she always wakes up 3 hours, on the dot, from when her last feeding was. She will eat and almost every time will fall back to sleep after she eats.

Question - should we continue this routine and hope that she drops that feeding at some point? Is this normal for babies to go down for bedtime and then wake up just an hour or an hour and a half later to eat? She is almost 16 weeks.
