We are all over the shop! Though reading this post I realise we are still pretty lucky. Some nights she sleeps amazing... 6:30 - 6!!! OMG! and then we have nights like last night, up at 11:30 and 4. She used to go straight back to sleep after nursing but now she wants to talk and she is SO loud I need to keep her in bed with me until she falls asleep which means I am not getting much sleep at all :(

Besides the fact my boobs have no idea what's going on.

@Silva: Where are you off to? We went to the beach when H was 2 months old and the sea air was very good for her. She slept amazing.

@grizz: Zombaby! Haha Hopefully you're LO is an opposite baby and sleeps better for his regression

@silva - sad! hang in there!

i just started going through a minor sleep regression with j. she's been STTN (9:30-6:30) but on a few occasions, has woken up around 4am.

she's been rolling over a lot more, and is being a lot more vocal lately. she plays with her feet & is a lot more aware of everyone/everything. must be distracting!

also she's MUCH harder to put down for naps. she used to go to bed right after her first wakeup, but now she'll be hanging out in the crib for upwards of 30 min or more.

and for naps, she screams and rolls around a lot before sleeping. if she rolls over, i have to go in & turn her over so she can get to sleep.

she also used to fall alseep quickly in the stroller/ergo on walks. now she'll be up for ages while being walked, even if it's way past her naptime.

going back to work in a couple weeks so hope the sleep situation doesn't get worse, esp at night. j won't take a bottle so wondering if that'll mess with her sleep once i go back to work (i.e. nursing at night to make up for daytime bottle strike)...

We're Wonder Weekin' hardcore at this house. 6+ wake ups a night. If we regress even more next month at 4 months, it's official: My baby doesn't sleep at all, and I'll be convinced I birthed a zombie. Zombaby!

We're currently at 3 wakeups. 11, 2, and 4. Sometimes she goes back to sleep after the 4am wakeup and sometimes not. LO is 6 months. She regressed because of a volient cough that I could only stop with nursing. Now she's accustomed to 3 feeds per night. I think we'll re-sleep train this weeked and try to get back to one wakeup/feed per night.

@looch, that's so creepy! sleep talking freaks me out

E was sleep crying a couple weeks ago. It was so bizarre

LO has a cold (and just got over one before this one) and were out of town right now... I think she has sttn 2-3x in the past month but the past couple weeks have been crappy. And of course she is fussy all day too. I wish I could go to work during the day... The only thing saving my sanity is that dh is with us and I've gotten some sleep thanks to him. But still neither of us is usually getting near a full night of sleep. 4 hrs at a time (and usually 30 min-1 hr otherwise) I'm considering a success. I thought by almost a year this wouldn't be such an issue. :/

@looch: haha! I actually get more frustrated when I wake up and she doesn't than when she wakes up. Sometimes she just kind of makes loud noises- like a cry- and I wake right up and get ready to nurse, but she is still dead asleep. Then it takes me 20 minutes to fall back asleep!

@Silva: It's interesting, I think he's dreaming, because he's calling out names, but he sits right up and then lays back down.

I will never understand this kid's sleeping.

@blackbird: oh man. I'm sorry. its almost the weekend, at least- will you be able to take some naps together then?

@tinyperson: we are going away Sunday night and I am freaking out about how bad her sleep will be. although, it can't get much worse, right? and a month?! yikes.

@MamaJ: oy. I keep thinking she is getting teeth- tons of drool, and I swear I can feel stuff forming- and all she wants to do is chew (hard!) on my finger. But nothing yet, and I"ve been saying "I think they are coming" for about 3 weeks. Does tylenol help at all?

@looch: when he wakes up is he wide awake? We co-bed, and the only blessing is that T goes right back to sleep as long as I nurse her when she wants it.

My son wasn't ever a big sleeper, even the nurses commented on how much time he spent awake in the hospital!

It's been 2.5 years, we're still dealing with night wakings.

We are in the 9 months sleep regression plus getting top teeth. Last week he was up ever hour. Sometimes even every 30 mins. I want to pull my hair out. He is a crap sleeper to begin with. Last night was much better so fingers crossed it is almost over. I also really need to sleep train but I really don't want to haha.

We're up about that much too after a 3 hour stretch when she goes to bed around 7. This has been going on for a month. Teething may be the culprit, plus we're at my parents, where she doesn't sleep well to begin with. Sigh. Sleep is a distant dream!

Um....not awesome. I just posted this morning on needing some advice. E went down at 7:30 last night and was up every hour on the hour until about 1:45am, when we put her in the RnP. Then DH and I got up for work around 5:30. Ugh :(

Just checking in, as I know a bunch of my fellow April mamas are probably enjoying the 4 month sleep regression.

I am not exaggerating when I say T has been up every two hours almost every night for the past week. I think we got a 3 or 4 hour stretch here and there but things are grim. My husband is working nights this week and next, so our routine is all of, too. I'm taking her morning nap with her, at this point, which i haven't done since she was 6 weeks old.

I cannot imagine how I would survive if I was working out of the home right now. Holy moly.

How are other folks holding up?
