Just wanted to update for anyone searching later that we ended up with Kyte Baby sleep sacks in the 18-36 month size. They're SO soft and breathable and much longer than our XL Halo & Aden & Anais ones. I bought ours during a clearance sale and bought 1.0 TOG for summer and 2.5 TOG for winter. Very happy with them after a few weeks!

My overly tall 2 year old is in a zipadeezip with his hands covered still! He doesn't seem to care either way but I just keep going with what works. It's probably time to stop putting him in it... I kind of forgot that he is 2!

Just so you know, baby deedee lite are just a soft jersey, like good quality t-shirt thickness. We like it for summer but it’s probably only a tiny bit warmer than muslin. I put my kids in the regular weight all the way up to the low 70’s, but they like to be cozy :)

@peachykeen: It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure our XL Haloes fit well beyond 24mo and DS is has always been 90% plus for height.

Thanks for the suggestions! We're in GA and keep the house at 66-76 overnight so really not looking for anything above 2.0 TOG. I think our muslin ones right now are only 0.5 TOG so probably should buy a slightly warmer one for winter. I'm liking the Baby Dee Dee Lite option so may give that one a try, but also reading comments I'm wondering if our XL sacks might fit longer than I think? She's currently in that size and I expected her to outgrow them soon but maybe not!

Wee Urban makes an 18-36 month and a 3-5 year one. They're a great brand - supercute and very cozy. We used ours with two different kids and it held up well.

We love baby deedee sleepsacks. The large is generously sized and my 3 year old still used it this last winter. A little expensive but we just have a couple and are on our second kid in them (so more than 4 years of use each probably) and they’re still holding up well and so cute and cozy :) some colors are cheaper than others too.

I have also used Etsy for sleep sacks, the benefit being you can really customize them however you like. I got flannel ones with sleeves in the length I needed last fall and then thicker material for winter still with sleeves. For summer I have switched back to cotton and muslin sleeveless options. I'm not sure what I will do this fall/winter when E is 2.

Grobag make bigger ones without feet holes, but they’re expensive. I don’t like halo fleece because it’s fleece. I bought a slumbersac brand one off amazon that’s bigger for my 2 year old, it’s 1.0 tog and I like it. It has holes for feet.

I have grobags from 0-36 months that are 2.5 tog all without feet holes. 0-6, 6-18, and 18-36 are their sizings I think. The 18-36 month one my 3.5 year old still fit in when we tried it on just for fun. I have also seen a x-large halo cotton sleep sack without feet holes, I don’t know what age that is for. Amazon seems to have a lot of different options for cotton ones, particularly for the U.S.

Does anyone have recommendations for sleep sacks past the 18-24m range? DD2 still fits in her 24m Hudson baby muslin sacks but I'm trying to buy ahead for winter. DD1 stopped using sleep sacks before she turned 2 so I don't have any experience with bigger ones. Looking into the Halo footed ones, but I also know she used to lose her socks in bed every night so not sure how effective these are (we do cotton 2-piece PJ sets due to eczema).

Any recs?
