Haha "winter is coming" makes me think of Game of Thrones.

We have two fleece Halo sleep sacks, but haven't used them yet

When it gets chilly, we use fleece footed PJs and a fleece Halo sleepsack. We keep our thermostat at 69-ish.

We use the fleece long-sleeved sleep sacks from Carter's-- (over a onesie + fleece pjs if it's a particularly cold night)-- although they only come in one size, and Baby X's legs are getting too long for them, so I have no idea what we'll do this winter. I'm really curious what other people say here. I don't like the Halo Sleepsacks in winter because they don't have sleeves.

I've bought 2 fleece Halo Sleepsacks which have pretty good reviews.
I also watched this video on Double Swaddling today and thought that baby must be hot (or at least very warm) in this combo. Maybe you'd want to try something like that?

We love the halo sleepsacks! We have been using them since the very beginning with the swaddle arms. It is still very warm here (we still have the a/c on) so we are doing a sleepsack with a long sleeve onesie underneath and LO seems happy. we have a fleece one for the winter but I am unsure if it will actually get cold enough.

@Rubies: when you put her in the babydeedee, do you dress her lightly underneath? we put her in the halo fleece sleepsack and i just put her in a long sleeve onesie underneath.

We do fleece halo sleep sacks in the winter, cotton halo sleep sacks in the summer! I got a couple of aden & anais muslin sleep sacks which are good because they're longer (Wagon Jr. is in an XL now) BUT they're just soooo thin. They're great for the hottest summer nights but I'm always afraid he'll rip right through it with his strong legs!

@kjn: we don't use sleep sacks right now and lo is 7 months but I have a 4-layer Aden + Anais one. I have seen tons of sleep sacks (maybe even grobags) at Winners!

And yes...it IS getting cold!!!

We have 2 Perlim Pinpin sleep sacks, Sawyer is a hot baby, but I think they will be perfect for our house in winter with a sleeper. He sleeps in them in a onesie and is almost too hot right now.

I'm from Canada, too! Winter IS coming, it's so cold already! We use babydeedee sleepsacks and they are soooooo awesome!

@Mrs. Superhero: I just bought two grobags as backups...Haven't tried them yet but the concept is exactly the same. I do, however, sort of prefer the feel of the deedee but it's no biggie!

Hi all. I've been lurking here a long time and have found lots of useful tips but I haven't posted before. We finally have our little guy sleeping better at 3 months of age but I'm worried that he's getting cool at night. I'm wondering what sleep sacks people like for cooler weather? We live in Canada and winter's a comin'!
