@daniellemybelle: Yes. About a week after we started, she slept through the night. We will still have bad nights every now and then, but there is always an explanation. Teething or traveling or new development. There were a few days at the end of school that she woke up a few times before she was down for the night. It was so hard on me because I was so used to her sttn. Last night she got up for about 45 min around 8 (after going Down around 7). She comfort nursed and burped a few times then went down. She's still asleep right now.

@QBbride: hi! Just saw this. It did help. It really helped me beciase it went through all the reasons for training and kind of what to expect. There are some rough nights and it took us about a week to get it down. Lo moved to her room at the same time and it really was the best transition for us. She goes down drowsy, but awake and we sometimes have a weird night where she's off, but for the most part it is amazing and she does well. Right now she is 8 months old. We do the same thing for naps and nighttime sleep.

@MerryC: and @Mrs. M: yay! I just got the basic program and I've been watching the videos. I'm excited and So is dh. Right now I've been the only doing bed time routine and I want us both to be able or really, anyone because she will be able to fall asleep on her own. She also naps horribly at the sitter's so we want to get that better. I think we are going to tackle this when he is off for a week.

We did it! Used the stay in the room method and it worked beautifully. We waited until 10 months when we were ready to night wean and we were through a lot of teeth and milestones. My kids were each waking up 3+ times a night so it was pretty bad at our house previously. DD sttn on night 2 and DS by night 4. We still go back to the method and sit in their room when they have trouble going to sleep and it works so well. DS wouldn't tolerate ferber, he would throw up when he got upset. But by staying in the room, he stayed calmer and was able to figure it out. That made me so much more at peace with the whole process, that they weren't alone. I really liked the videos to watch daily to step through the program. Let me know if you have any questions!

Yes, it worked great for us! We didn't try it until coming home from a vacation and she suddenly refused to sleep in her crib (and I was newly pregnant with nasty morning sickness and about to lose my mind because out of no where she wouldn't sleep)! She was 10- months old when we first tried it, and the program was a great middle of the road approach for us. She had typically been a good sleeper, but had a few sleep regressions after learning new skills (especially cruising at 7- months). After three days of the program she was sleeping through the night again and taking her normal two naps. I wish I would have known about this program sooner!

If you used this sleep training program did it work well? Lo has been dealing with regressions and a cold so I know her sleep problems won't be like this always. But, we do rock and nurse to sleep and she takes a paci. It's hard for her at her sitter's because they can't do that all the time, rocking to sleep, holding her during naps. Looking for something my husband and I can both so together and that way he can put her down sometimes. She is 4 months old. Has been sleeping through the night up until this week. She has been getting up this week about 2 times a night. We nurse and she falls back to sleep. Naps are a whole other discussion. She is still in our room in a pack and play, but thinking about moving her to her own room. She weighs at least 14 lbs.
