@ellewoods84: I am so sorry you have been having sleep issues. I don't believe in sleep regressions, I just think babies change a lot at 4 months and we need to make sure that we are changing our feeding and sleep routines. Often, parents use a sleep approach that isn't tailored to the child's feeding needs and biological sleep waves. This can end up with both a child and mom crying without any results. As a pediatric sleep consultant, I would generally say that the she should be on 3 naps a day and going down for bed based on the quality of the naps. I hope this helps.

@scg00387: we tried that pu/pd for 5 days....needless to say, things did not get any better, worse actually! Lol. So....on to the next.
@Mrs. Lion: it is wonder week time and even 4 month sleep regression time (she is 16 weeks), but since this has been going on for 1 month, I cannot attribute it to either of those! But those things can't be helping either!
@Little Misters Mom: ugh, so you understand my pain! It's awful. Last night she was crying and so was I. Booooo. But yes, this too shall pass....as she wakes from her 3rd 40 min nap of the day.

@ellewoods84: no advice but we are right there too. Had a few nights of under an hour and thought we were past it, then bam.. 3-4 hour nights. Between that and the nap fights I feel like I spend the entire day attempting to put him down! This too shall pass.... Right?

@ellewoods84: ugh :( there is nothing worse than feeling like you are doing everything and it still not working :( hoping this is just a phase! How long has it been like this? Could it be a wonder week? (Sometimes wonder weeks are like a month long. Cruel, i know)

@Mrs. Lion: I really like this website too! I feel like I am following the awake times/nap times/bedtimes, everything that is recommended, but it just isn't working. Thank you though!
@Stacy: Sorry you are dealing with this also! It is so exhausting. Especially if you are back at work. Hopefully we will get some answers!

So sorry you're going through this. I have heard a lot about this to and am intrigued. My little guy was sleeping through the night since 5 weeks but when I went back to work at 12 weeks he decided he had enough of letting mama sleep through the night. He is now 18 weeks and still waking and I am tired.

If anyone can share info with me too I would appreciate it!

@Cherrybee: Ugh, I am sorry you are having to deal with this also! I feel like I have ZERO time to myself. Minus the 40 minutes of sleep she gets in the beginning of the night, we are up for this 3+ hours, in the dark, attempting to put her to sleep and it is starting to really take a toll. I hope we can figure something out!

So I am sorry this is my 10000000 post on sleep, but does anyone have any info on the sleep sense program? I have googled and hellobee searched and everyone keeps talking about some magical PDF that outlines it? Anyone have a copy of this? It just took us 4!!!!!! Hours to put O to sleep. Usually it takes 2-3, but 4 is an all time record. I mean 2-3 isn't good either, but come on, 4!!!! Just stop. Help.
