@gotkimchi: haha that's why I had to have DH do it! We basically treated it like CIO - we would let him fuss for a couple of minutes and if he didn't settle down, DH would go in, give the binky and rub his back for a minute and then leave. Rinse and repeat until he fell back asleep. He never lifted him out of the crib unless he had a dirty diaper. It definitely makes it easier to have help at night. I think DS would FREAK if I went in and didn't feed him. You're a trooper, mama!

@peaches1038: my husband works late shifts so I handle most nights alone but I might be able to have him do this on his days off. I've considered just soothing him myself but not feeding, but then feeding is always the easiest and in weak in the middle of the night

I dropped one night feeding around that time and just had DH go in to soothe him. He started to sleep through that feeding after a couple of days. I just dropped the last night feeding a couple of weeks ago at 15 months doing the same thing. His were at 11ish and 3ish and I dropped the early one first.

We did cio for bedtime so lo falls asleep fine. He has slept until 4:30 but most nights still gets up around 1:30 then 4:30. I'd like to drop both of these but especially the 1:30. What do you do for middle of the night? Cio? Or something else? If I do cio should I go for both feedings?
