She has always cried before sleeping. It used to be in the carrier as we walked and now at 7 months it's during PJ time. I think she just needs to cry. I still think it's a success because it's a short period. But we only sleep-trained him to transition him from our bed to his own crib in his own room. Is it when babe falls asleep on own without crying at all?</p> <p>We trained (Ferber) starting about two weeks ago and LO still cries for a few minutes before falling asleep. We rarely go in for checks anymore though. I blame the pacifier for the prolonged difficulty with falling asleep on her own ;-) </p>
