Yes, my LO started doing this at the same age and hasn't stopped! I think he does turn his head from side to side during the night but he always sleeps on his belly.

My LO has only slept on his tummy since 4.5 months. As soon as you put him down, over he goes! It was rough the first few weeks of it as he couldn't figure out how to turn back over, but once we got past that hurdle, he sleeps great on his tummy.

I'm pretty sure this is a stupid question but my 5.5 month old has been sleeping on his side for about 3 weeks (since we unswaddled) and last night rolled all the way onto his tummy (1st time his arm hasn't gotten stuck! Yay for milestones!) and fell fast asleep. That was at 7pm, I went to bed at 1030ish and he was in the EXACT same position and hadn't moved beyond some small twitches. I woke up at around 2 cause of my stupid cats and he was still in the exact same position! Then around 4 he was making noise (his usual feeding time), and he was still in the same position! Fed him, put him down on his back, and he immediately got in the same position again & slept like that til 715 this morning. I guess it's fine but it seems weird to me cause when he slept on his side he was all over the place! Anyone have the same experience?
