I usually wake up with the light since our blinds and curtains don't block it out completely, but on Sunday I slept in till 8:30! I need much more sleep than DH does and we've 'worked' on him not disturbing my sleep so 1 year ago he would have woken me up by then out of boredom. It was glorious!

I always have to get up around 6:30 to go to the bathroom but usually can fall back asleep until 8-8:30 or so. I used to be able to sleep in until 10:30-11, those were the days!

I've always been an early riser, but now that this pregnancy is coming to a close, I'm finding it harder and harder to sleep past 5am (ugh). I was wide awake at 5:20 yesterday, and at 4:45 this morning. I think lay there until a more acceptable "wake up" time, and am a complete zombie after a few hours.

@Alivoo01: ha! I've never been a morning person but funny how when you have kids the internal clock automatically kicks in. Sure I would love to sleep in... but I don't know if that will ever happen like it did prior to kids (even when they are older) I know my parents are always up early.

I love sleeping in more than almost anything else. Not excessive, just until like, 10 or 10:30 on the weekends-- glorious. We are TTC at the end of the summer so I am purposely making sure I really appreciate this sleeping in now, since I'm pretty sure my next chance will be in retirement...

We sleep in soo late. We are night owls so we stay up super late on weekends and then sleep until 11 or so. Sometimes I will try to wake up around 9-10 so I don't feel like a big bum. While I sometimes feel guilty about sleeping in I know that we should just enjoy it now while we're able to do it!

I've never been very good at sleeping in=( DH loves to sleep in though! I've been known to jump on my bed to wake him up if it's getting late & I'm bored =D He doesn't find it nearly as amusing as I do! Now I've been trying to apprieciate our chances to lounge in bed since someday in the near future I'm hoping to be woken up by a LO

When I was working I had to get up at 4:30 a.m. for work. When I stopped working at 20 weeks, I started sleeping in until 8:30. Now that I am at 40 weeks, I hardly sleep a wink at night and I just end up waking up whenever I have had the total of 7 hours or so. This morning I didn't get out of bed until 10 since I was up all night.

My DH is a total early bird. Even on his days off he has mowed the lawn and has breakfast made for me before I can wipe the sleepy dirt out of my eyes.

Bummer! Too bad you can't take advantage of it right now while you still can :(

I miss sleeping in, sleeping past 6:30 is sleeping in for me these days. Maybe tomorrow (!), but after a while it gets uncomfortable with these darn full bags of milk attached to my chest. Sometimes I let my husband sleep in since he works so much, but my days of sleeping in are over. I do get one thing he doesn't get though- the awesome afternoon nap!

Hubs is the early riser. He usually has to be out the door by 6am during the week so on the weekends he is up early too. I'm not up as early but I can't sleep in past 9am or else I feel like I am wasting the day.

Now we're up when the baby wakes -.-
:(
DH usually takes the baby to Starbucks and the park in the am so I can get a couple more hours of sleep though. :)

Pre-pregnancy, I was always the one up latest and sleeping in as long as possible. Now, I am always up before Hubs so that I can check my sugar, eat, all that sort of stuff. Right now, my idea of a perfect day would be one that I could sleep in until 11 or so, but it won't happen because of how scheduled my meals need to be. This is definitely a disadvantage to pregnancy.

Do you sleep in? Does your Hubs? Who's the early bird in your relationship?
