My LO does this if put flat on her back but is fine at night in the rock n play. The gurgling is terrible, right? She's 3.5 mo and the sound still bothers me.

The rock and play is also great for sleeping on an incline, but if te bouncer works and your ped is ok with it, it's do that. We didn't start having issues with reflux or gas until she was older so we actually went back from the crib to the RnP.

Also holding her upright after eating helped, but I admit I didn't always since I would nurse her to sleep a lot.

We bough a swing like this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005V9CUC6/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?qid=1390061300&sr=8-7&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70 and it was a godsend. We also eliminated dairy and soy from my and his diets. Feed upright and hold upright after a feeding. That sucked at night because it was an extra hour but it was worth it.

Hello all,

I have a 2 week old at home and, of course, we're getting no sleep! He sleeps pretty quietly during the day, but at night he makes these crazy gurgling sounds. It's almost like he's choking, but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. The pediatrician said it's just reflux and to prop his mattress up a bit and have him lie at an incline. It's not seeming to do the trick.

We have a Fischer Price bouncer that he sleeps in beautifully and quietly. I'm going to check with the Dr. to see if he can sleep in it overnight, but I was wondering if any of you have dealt with a similar issue. Have any of your infants slept overnight in a bouncer? Any other potential solutions for this situation?

Thanks all!
