@sandy: I was surprised too because neither Wagon Sr. or I are tummy sleepers, but Wagon Jr. is definitely a tummy sleeper! He only flips onto his back when he's really deeply asleep and he only started doing that when he was like 1.5 years old. We always (and still do) put him down on his back but he always ends up on his tummy.

@mrs. wagon: she had some hard boogies just about to fall out of her nose after her nap!

Ok I feel better about just leaving her on her tummy bc you guys say its ok if she just falls asleep :) So far for 2 naps she has been on her tummy and now we just put her down for the night so we'll see how that goes :)

Definitely leave her! Especially if she can pick up her head and change to the other side... that means she's ready to tummy sleep. The first time Wagon Jr. did that, he slept on his tummy so well and has EVERY NIGHT since then. And it REALLY helps with the poops and the boogies! I'd find hard boogies just lying on the crib sheet because gravity would just pull them out :)

I flipped my LO over for so long, even though I knew by then it was safe for her. It just made me sleep better.

As soon as my LO learned to flip over, I just left him. He eventually figured out to roll back on his own. She's probably just really comfortable on her tummy and doesn't want to flip back! :)

LO is 5 months old and just started rolling over onto her tummy in her crib. She seems to have forgotten how to roll from tummy to back. She fusses for a while and then falls asleep. Should I just leave her or flip her over?
