I am totally terrified of doing this! Last night she slept so long and I woke up to her crying. I asked DH how long she had been crying. He didn't know but we determined it was at most a couple of minutes because it sounded like she had just woken up.

That's one of my big fears, I'm a deep sleeper. One of the reasons I never nap when lo naps. I know I won't wake up when she does!

DH travels for work for a week at a time. By the fourth or fifth say, I'm so tired that I wonder if I slept through DS's crying. I haven't noticed any different sounding cries, but I feel bad. Like you said, he's fine so it's not too bad.

I was incredibly tired last night and put DS down at 830. It's 7 here and I just woke him up. He was unhappy and started crying and he is crying weird! Almost like he lost his voice...make me wonder if I slept through him crying if he woke up last night!? Feel bad for him (I guess), but he's fine and I feel like a million bucks-8 hours of sleep!
