Yeah I'd do it! I didn't but next time around I will. At that age he's not going to roll out. Just buckle him in and do whatever you gotta do!

Yes!!! I used to nap on the couch next to the swing, some nights it was the only way I could get any sleep. As mentioned above, use safety measures (buckles, be nearby) and close your eyes!

I think you'd be fine. Make sure that he is secure (buckled in) just in case, and that nothing is near his face that could pose a suffocation risk, and take a nice nap. :)

At the beginning, LO's only place to sleep was in the swing some nights (those nights when he cries for 5h straight). I'd just buckle it, recline it all the way back, make sure no blankets were in his way and sleep next to his swing (I scooted it up to the couch and slept on the couch). Turn it down to the slowest option and turn off the lights. Guess what? it's not like he'll be there all morning. Get off HB and get that 2 hours he's about to give you!

If LO is finally asleep, but he's in his swing.. Am I safe to nap while he's in there? Should I turn it off? As soon as I pick him up he is gonna wake up and the thought of taking a nap sounds so heavenly but I'm scared to leave him in there without watching him.
