I kind of prop my bump on a body pillow and it pushes the baby to one side, but I don't really care bc it's the only way my hips don't hurt. He still moves around and beats me up, so I figure he's fine!

@Astro Bee: thanks
I slept on the guest bed last night and although my hips started to hurt, I didn't feel like my bump was getting squished!

@jh524: I remember being so uncomfortable at that point. My hips constantly hurt from laying on my side, so I really needed the mattress topper. But definitely remove it if it's making you feel squished. Hope it feels better. :happy:

I don't think you can hurt your baby from sleeping. If it was at that point of doing harm, your body will let you know because you'd be in pain.

I'd only worry if it's making you uncomfortable, or causing you to sleep poorly/wake up more. There is no way that it's harming your baby. Your baby is protected by the amniotic sac/fluid, your uterus, and your belly.

I've been using a 4" mattress topper for this pregnancy. Used it for my previous pregnancy and never noticed this.
I'm waking and feel as though I'm laying on my side too much. Baby will be pushed up high because the mattress topper is actually mis-shaping my bump... It's odd and I'm worried it's hurting baby.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
