Both my kids loved their paci for sleeping until at least 2. I've read that it actually reduces the risk of SIDS as well. That outweighs ear infections in my mind. </p> <p>Even a quick google search only links "continuous" pacifier use with increased ear infections. Every time I go in to check on little one while sleeping the pacifier is in his mouth -- so I will take it out and then obviously he wakes up. I heard it could cause ear infections if left in the mouth ?? </p>
