Glad I don't have the only mover and shaker in their sleep! As I was looking at these responses and back to the monitor, LO already turned 180 in the crib last night.

@hilsy85: I need to mount my camera higher on the wall, but I usually end up moving the camera view constantly to see her.

He moves around all over the place!!! :) I sometimes go in there to move in when he's in distorted, uncomfortable positions. LOL he sleeps well and through the night, so i'm not too concerned bout the movment.

@hilsy85: i hate that :P!!

LO moves a ton. I don't think it has anything to do with the quality of his sleep though--I think it's just an individual thing, the same way some people kick and roll in their sleep as adults. I wouldn't worry about it!

I especially hate when he moves himself down to the end of the crib that I can't see on the monitor!

DD loves to sleep with her head wedged on something with her butt up in the air. When we used to co-sleep, it would mean under my armpits or DH's side. Scary! Now that she sleeps in her crib, she still does the same thing. She always flips around on her tummy, then curls up with her butt in the air, usually after finding the corner of the crib.

She's always been a strong baby, so we weren't so concerned (but always checked on her regardless), and now at 15 months, we've gotten used to it.

LO moves ALOT, whenever I look at her on the video monitor she's in a different position. She slept with me last night because she was upset because of teething and that was the worst night's sleep I've had in a while because she was moving pretty much all night long. She seems to be rested when she wakes up so I'm guessing its just her sleep style.

My LO doesn't move a lot but almost everyday during her nap times, she'll pout, make sad faces, let out a really sorrowful cry. She calms down when I talk to her to soothe her and goes back to sleep. This doesn't happen during the night though. It just breaks my heart sometimes because it looks like she is having a bad dream.

DS is 10 months and moves a ton in his sleep. When I wake to look at the monitor he is always in a different spot. I've noticed he wakes, sits up for a second and looks around, then lays back down and goes to sleep. He is all over the place!

Does your LO "sleep like a log" or sleep all over the place? I feel like I am always posting about K's rolling in her sleep. But seriously, I think she doesn't get good REM sleep. I will start her out at the foot of the crib and she will end up all the way at the top of the crib, usually wedged in the corner or with her head against the crib and curled around. She flips and flops throughout the night. She grunts, cries, wakes up for a bit, and usually falls back asleep. But I do have to go in and move her back down to the bottom of the crib again usually at least 1x a night when she can't move up anymore and cries. Sometimes she does a 180.

Is this a developmental thing - a precursor to crawling? Or just her normal sleep style? She has ALWAYS been a restless sleeper. :( I never find her sleeping in the same position or location that she started in. Even for naps.

Does your LO move in their sleep A LOT? I've watched her on the monitor at all hours. She seems to make some kind of movement at least every few minutes.
