I have to say, life-changing. I've had mine for a few years. They still look pretty new and handle gross snow, slush, sleet, super cold rain, etc really well. They're warm, water proof and easy to slip on/off. They were less than $25. Obviously the ones I got probably won't be there this year but they might have something similar. They don't have a removable liner like some boots but they are insulated and rated down to -40F.
