That’s why I got the charcoal shoe deodorizers. I don’t like wearing them with socks as much because they are a bit tight and then I don’t feel the soft insides. </p> <p>@brownepiano: @peaches1038: I don’t think he will always wear socks with them. He does sometimes but it definitely doesn’t help in his current ones. </p> <p>Update- I washed them last night and left them to air dry- now the whole laundry room smells like his stinky slippers. I use to have fleece lined one but now I just wear knock off Birkenstocks. DH works from home and wears slippers all the time- and they STINK so bad. Like he takes his feet out of them while watching TV and I almost need to leave the room. (It doesn't help that I have had a heightened sense of smell since my first pregnancy, 5 years ago. What an awesome super sense to have). </p> <p>I've bought him new ones and they end up smelling bad again within months. Please recommend some slip on, sturdy slippers that really don't smell or can go in the washing machine. I'm fine with cheap that we have to replace every year, but I'm not fine with replacing $60+ ones after 6 months of use because they smell. </p> <p>And recommendations? He prefers slip on ones. I just can't deal with the smell. </p>
