When my LO was that age meals took forever, about 45 minutes to an hour. Luckily that didn't last too long, and now meals last about 15 minutes for him at 2 years old.

My 10.5 month old loves to eat her solids! We transitioned from purées to a BLW style and she eats full meals of regular food cut up. The problem is she eats and plays and eats and each meal lasts about 30-45 minutes (3 times a day).

How long does it take your early eater to eat? Is this excessive?
