This came up while I was doing some searching. I know from the IVF thread that they were eventually able to retrieve 7 eggs. </p> <p>My situation sounds similar to yours so I find this to be hopeful. I'm on day 8 of stims right now and so far only 2 follies have shown any growth. Up until today they saw NONE. I also was on a pretty high dosage. But I am 35 so that makes a difference. On weds they changed my meds from 300iu Gonal-F &amp; 150 Menopur to ONLY 525iu of Menopur (yeah, SEVEN vials a day) and no gonal-f. And that's when we finally see a tiny bit of growth.<br /> My doc said we are hoping for a third to grow over the weekend and he has me mentally prepared for a Monday trigger and Weds retrieval. What tests did they do prior to IVF? I switched clinics after failed IUIs and the difference between clinics was very surprising. My new clinic where I did IVF was so much thorough. They had me take Estrace 2 weeks prior to my period. I was not on bcp's. I started 300 units of Follistim and 225 units of Menopur. On the 7th night of stimming, I added Ganilrex and have Been taking it since. When I went in today which is my 9th day of stims, I had a 16, a 14, and a 12 on my right ovary. The left side were still small. I didn't respond well at all for my first cycle (1 egg) so my RE changed my protocol and dropped the Lupron for my second cycle because he thought it was suppressing me too much. Unfortunately, that didn't work for me but I had low ovarian reserve. Sometimes it's just a matter of changing up stims/protocol. On day 8, estrogen was only 259. I go back in tomorrow to recheck and if I don't have at least 3-4 eggs, the cycle will be cancelled. Anyone have similar issues? This is killing me. All my initial testing didn't show any low ovarian reserve. </p>
