Towels, washcloths and soap have always been kept in a hallway closet.

We keep hair products and bathroom cleaner under our bathroom sink.

I've never had storage in a bathroom before!

We had our fix it guy build a small cabinet and mounted it on the wall : ) We keep towels in a leather ottoman at the end of our bed.....and spare toiletries are in the laundry room under a cabinet. We are busting at the seams, can't wait to sell (but not for another 9 months).

Our master bathroom is tiny, and my strategy is a caddy that fits over the shower head to store all our products, and as many towel bars as I could cram onto the walls (I have two vertical rows) - I fold clean towels in half or thirds lengthwise, and store two per bar.

Also, can you make any renovations? We found put in a large recessed medicine cabinet/mirror above the tiny vanity and that gives us a ton of extra space, too. It was an easy project.

Our towels and less-used toiletries live in drawers under our bed. We have very little storage in our bathroom so try to keep it to toiletries we use often, and a few cleaning products plus one towel each.

I kept big stuff like towels in the hall closet. And I got a steralite box for all the products I didn't need accessible and put those in a closet as well.

When I had a teeny tiny bathroom, I bought a three-level rolling Ikea shelf-thingy (sorry, I don't know how else to describe it) to keep all my hair products, face wash, etc. We put a shelving unit above the toilet to keep our toilet papers, towels, etc.

When we lived in the condo (with one teeny-tiny bathroom), I got a skinny little cart that fit in between the toilet and the vanity from IKEA. It has 2 or 3 shelves and a little tray on top.
Towels and extra (unopened products) were stored in a hallway closet.
* Biggest space saver was just being VERY meticulous about not buying a ton of different products. I would try to finish every bottle of stuff before opening another one. Also, trying to keep only 1 type of product open at a time (i.e. shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.) I really appreciated this method and even now prefer not to have a million half-used bottles open of stuff now.

I second the above-the-toilet storage thing. You could also find some deep shelves and put baskets on them.

I've used hallway closets and bought storage units that fit over the toilet with extra cabinet space!

We have a similarly tiny bathroom. We have a metal shelfing unit above/around the toilet (legs on either side of the toilet, three shelves above it). I put our stuff in baskets on the shelves. The last tenant left it, so I have no idea where it came from, but I bet you could find something similar at IKEA.

We are moving and gong from three bathrooms with double sinks and cupboards to one tiny little bathroom with only the cupboard under the sink. I have no idea where I am going to put towels, hair products, brushes, lotions etc. I didn't realize how much bathroom paraphernalia I had until I packed it all up. No idea where it'll go!!

What are your small bathroom solutions?
