@kiddosc: @ValentineMommy: Thanks! I think I need to go see them in person to see how big they are and try her out on one before making a decision.

We have no garage, no basement and no yard. And we're already going to be getting another stroller (umbrella) for daycare. I don't think the trike can replace that for what we need it for.

We got E one for his first birthday, he'll be two next month and we use it nearly daily as a replacement for his stroller when we go on walks. He's just starting to learn to pedal and steer. We love it, and he asks to go on a "trike ride" all the time. That being said, it does take up a quite a bit of room with the handle attached.

I have one! We have one of the 4-in-1 Smart Trikes. DS loves it. He's only 14 months, but it's so great how they can transition into the trike part. I'd recommend it if you have the room. We even take it just around the block instead of his stroller sometimes. DS loves to "pedal" it (even though he's not really doing anything)

Anyone have one? If you do, would you recommend it? MIL wants to buy LO a bike (which is really nice!), and DH thinks this would be good.

I think they look a little weird, and we don't really have room to store it. I think we should wait till next summer for a bike. She's only 17 months now, and we don't have a yard or a place where she can ride it unless we take it across a busy street over to a nearby park, which we will probably do more often in the summer, but not every day.
