I think so? The rules for it assume you're using standard OPK strips I think. So I would assume "peak" is the same as a positive OPK. We're trying SMEP out this month too (I hope :)

I think SMEP says EOD until you get a +OPK, and starting on the day of the +OPK to do it three days in a row. If you're using SMEP, then you'd want to disregard Clearblue's instructions to BD every day of the smileys, because that's a different method. Just so you know though, you're better off using a plain old OPK for SMEP because the Advanced Digital test or a CBEFM can give you a Peak when you don't actually have a +OPK.

Apologies to anyone whose head is spinning from all the acronyms!

My husband and I are using the SMEP this cycle, and Im a little confused about what to do with our OPK results this morning.

We use the Clearblue Advanced Digital Tests. I have a blinking smiley today and have EW CM. This is normal. Last cycle I had 4 days of blinking smiley and 36 Hours of Peak Fertility. (I also tested with FR tests to make sure it was a true positive.) And EW CM throughout that.

SMEP says to EOD until you get a positive. That means keep up the EOD until I get the Peak Fertility Sign (Stable Smiley) from Clearblue right? I guess Im confused bc Clearblue recommends BD every day of the smileys, blinking and stable. WWYD?
