I pretty much lived on cashews, string cheese, Dare ginger snaps, Sun Rype dried fruit bars and peanut butter toast.

Sliced apple with almond butter was something I always kept down well. Protein often helps, so maybe cheese sticks or jerky? Nuts.

I really like peanut butter filled pretzels for a small yet filling snack.

I'm travelling long haul in a couple of weeks too. I'm pretty nervous about how my MS will be. (I'm almost 8 weeks now I think)

protein bars have definitely helped me the last few weeks, along with ginger ale, saltines, goldfish crackers... just little easy to graze on things to stop me getting hungry.

I had horrible, horrible sickness but I used to really try and nibble on protein bars through the days. I used to get chocolate mint ones as they settled my stomach a little, and just graze on them, kind of nibble and suck rather than big bites. The protein was great for keeping me fuller for longer. Good luck!

I'm dealing with this right now! We are on a 3-week trip in Asia and I am 10 weeks, so I was 7 when we set out. I also don't really like Asian food, so it complicates things. Like you, I feel worse if my stomach is empty, so I have just been sure to have loaves of bread on hand and eat a slice whenever I start to feel like I'm getting hungry (I don't mind if it is squashed). I'm not a huge peanut butter fan, but it has occasionally been appealing and filling over the last few weeks. Good luck! It's hard to be away from familiar foods when having MS.
If you go the peanut butter route, make sandwiches before you go on the plane and check the jar. I found really small jars of PB, but they still considered it a liquid and confiscated it when we went through security (not sure they knew what it was in Cambodia though...). Also, I live in Europe and, depending on where you go in Europe, PB may be hard to find.

I bought Kashi granola bars that are full of fiber and things like that. I also ate some dried fruit (if you can keep it down). Pretty filling and healthy, and sometimes the sourness of dried cherries and things can help. Those individual packets of cheese might be good, and almonds!

I found that bland carbs like crackers (spread w/peanut butter to make it more filling), cereal, or bread (french bread is pretty filling) kept my nausea under control. Maybe you could take some fruit onboard? I think slightly sour fruits like cherries helped me a lot!

We recently went on a trip while I was dealing with nausea...things that helped me (and was easily packable, portable) were cashews, dried fruits & cheddar combos (which I never ate before nausea but were tasty). Good luck & have fun on your trip!

Cheese and crackers were good for me, or crackers with peanut butter or other nut butter. Yogurt was hit or miss for me. Basically the more processed the better when I was feeling really sick- cheese-its, goldfish crackers, ritz-bitz. I ate like a five year old. Those hummus cups with the pretzel crackers would prob be good.
Also sour candies were good, not sure why.

Good luck! Just don't let your stomach get empty and make sure to keep your snacks on your person. I left mine in the overhead bin and forgot to get it before landing and it was the absolute worst I've felt my entire pregnancy.

I ate animal crackers, cashews, ritz and cheese for the first 5 months, or so. The cashews and cheese kept me full.

Ugh, I am sorry. :( I traveled when I was about as far along as you and it was unpleasant, but I did eat as much as possible. I remember having plantain chips, ginger candies (although I switched to ginger pills eventually, they helped more), bananas, and granola bars. That is all I can remember, but if I hadn't been so strict with dairy (Paleo) I would have had yogurt and string cheese, too, because I LOVED anything cold. And plenty of water!

We leave for our "last trip before kids" on Tuesday. We're going to Europe, so it's going to mean a lot of time in airports and flying. I'm 7 weeks now and while I haven't thrown up yet, the nausea is getting noticeably worse daily. I've found, as many people say, that an empty stomach makes it worse, so I want to take plenty of snacks for traveling, but I haven't found any really good ones yet. Crackers settle my stomach, but aren't filling. Sandwiches sound nice, but deli meat isn't allowed.

So what would you recommend? I need some ideas that are fairly filling (I'm constantly STARVING), and not likely to get squished too easily in a bag. Also, I've found that sugar makes me super sick feeling, so non-sweets.
