I keep a luna bar on my nightstand for just that reason. I stocked up when they were on sale at target with a cartwheel coupon.

I leave my snacks in the kitchen, but they are readily available when I get up. Sometimes, I cut up fruit in the fridge, sometimes it is almonds. I have to have healthy things handy, or I reach for the convenience of the cookie jar :silly:

Oddly enough, I never really wanted snacks in the MOTN, just water. I kept my full water cup with me. This also led me to knocking it over on occasion and breaking two lids (the plastic straw cup I use is "unbreakable". The lids, apparently, are not).

I totally did until just a few nights ago (when I ran out). My favorites were peanut butter filled pretzels and Sahale nut/snack mixes. Sometimes I would get a jar of almonds or honey roasted mixed nuts. Anything I could eat with one hand, didn't have to be refrigerated and had a little protein.

Do you keep snacks in the nursery (or wherever LO sleeps) for you for motn wake ups? Any tips on good ones to keep around?

dd is 5 weeks tomorrow so we're up ALL the time, and I've been getting super hungry during the middle of the night. I've gone through a box of granola bars that I brought into the nursery so that I don't have to trek out to the kitchen, but I'm kind of bored of those!
