I should have done it again. I send photos in the mail to family members sometimes because I think they'd like a picture they can display in their house. We have an aunt who lives in a convent and she sent us the sweetest letter back, saying that she'd lost touch with many of her nieces and nephews and that it was such a wonderful surprise to get the card and to see how much our son has grown. I send snail mail photos to my Grandma who of course adores them, she loves carrying them around her retirement community showing them to her friends. I think in theory it sounds fun to send pictures throughout the year but realistically I would order them and then just sit on them. Like they obsess over them and hound me all the time. We've gotten a lot of feedback, especially from people who are not on Facebook and who we don't see often. </p> <p>Would it be weird to send pictures of LO, maybe as a Shutterfly card, a few times a year, like around his birthday, Christmas, and maybe another random time of year? Or would that seem strange, especially around his birthday, or maybe even come off as gift grabby? </p>
