With her, they did play doh, ate snow, painted and tore up the house. We had lunch and I started dinner (pot roast) then I put DS2 down for a nap and DS1 has been playing on his leap pad while I finish work. My husband just got home and he can entertain them for a bit while I finish up my work project. He gets a roasting pan and some shot glasses to mess around with. Yesterday my husband brought in a bucket of snow and let him throw that in there too. We have a wired generator but the thought of no TV or internet while stuck inside during a massive blizzard all day long makes me cry a little (or a lot). </p> <p>We usually make peanut butter cookies, because they are my husband’s favorite and my least favorite so less temptation that I will eat the entire batch after being locked up in my house for 24 hours. Make pizza dough and have pizza for dinner, or muffins for afternoon snack. </p> <p>Make cards (use blank cards or just fold a piece of paper in half). Grandparents, neighbors, anyone you can think of.
