For the previous 2 years, they had nice bibs with reinforced knees. They are still in good shape when DD is done with them and will be handed down to DS. They are so much warmer and keep you so much drier when sledding and playing in the snow. I still have a pair of bibs for when it's really cold out. For snow play/tubing, it just keeps them drier IMO, and keeps their pants up (they’re all quite slim). However, my 8 year old is wearing 6/6X snow bibs, I think.
