We thought the same thing when he was tiny, but once he started gaining a bit of weight, it was totally a non-issue. I put LO in there yesterday to try it out. And while she did stop crying immediately I just did not feel comfortable with how fast it was going even on the lowest setting. She tends to spit up a fair amount and I think that much motion would just upset her tummy more. She's only 5 days old... Once she's bigger and weighs more will that slow down the swing? </p>
