I didn't have any sleep pillows or a RnP (didn't even know they existed!). We did co-sleep sometimes out of desperation on a firm mattress with no blankets, etc. but it was poor quality sleep as I was paranoid of rolling over the baby. I was super paranoid and only followed those rules and my LO just had to learn (she only napped in arms or being worn for ages - nighttime she was in the PnP bassinet)... Has anybody ever tried this? LO#1 never wanted to be put down and we did resort to co-sleeping for awhile out of desperation, which was terrifying to me since it seemed unsafe when he was so small.
