(although I loved Aiden, too)</p> <p>Edited to add: My husband has seen a good chunk of the SATC episodes, and we like analyzing them as groundbreaking for their time (women &amp; sex, older women, etc.) He thinks that the writers actually intentionally made Carrie a selfish, narcissistic person in the way that many male leads of t.v. shows tend to be- to see if people would react similarly to a female in that role.
