Basically it just kept stopping after about 40 seconds of pumping. and yes the sound changes right before it stops. sometime it will keep going until about 1.59 seconds and then it dies. and once its dead I have to unplug it to get it to come on. What did yours do when it broke? I've had a feeling mine is about to crap out because every now and then the motor will change tones and I feel like the suction becomes weaker then. I've been trying to hold out but my goal is to make it to at least a year, and we're at 9 months now. That happened to me with an airline a couple of months ago--one person refused to help and told me I had to pay hundreds of dollars. the other person did it right away with no questions asked. </p>
