Yeah, the Lollacup is annoying! I'm keeping ours around though for when DD2 isn't so messy with it.

I used Think Baby sippies with my first DD and just got the straw attachment to use the same cups again with my youngest. Day 2 and so far, so good. We also use Nuby straw cups. They're only $3-4, so once they start to leak, I'm okay with just throwing them out. We also like Take n Toss straw cups. I use them with disposable straws everytime to cut down on cleaning time :) no valve obviously, but I never give it to her unsupervised anyway.

Boo :( don't have one yet but it was invented by a guy I went to college with!! He's a really nice guy :)

FYI we've been through so many kinds of straw cups and the least leakiest I've found is the Munchkin brand. We have the kind that is double-walled and also the regular ones (that look kind of like the number 8, does that make sense?). We use them both for water and they leak a tiny bit sometimes but you can throw them around and the leaking is minimal.

We use straw cups from Old Navy for milk. They're kind of like take n toss straw cups but you can't pull the straw out and the straws themselves are super thick, hard plastic so the kids can't bite them closed. There's always leakage issues when WJ is playing with his cup, so we only use those in the high chair. Otherwise it's water in the munchkin cup!

I ordered a Lollacup this week because I wanted to introduce a straw cup to my LO that will be designated for cold formula. She only likes water in her Zoli cups and pumped breastmilk from a bottle.

We got the Lolla yesterday and I don't like it at all. It looks super cheap (but was $17) and it leaks a lot. I guess I should have read the description more closely....the straw is valve free so it probably isn't good for younger LOs who can't consistently hold the cup upright!

Does your LO use a Lollacup? Hit or miss?
