While you wait for an exterminator, put ALL food into bg heavy duty plastic containers, like Rubbermaid or whatever, or glass if you can. They will eat anything- dry pasta, couscous? Sure. I don't know if this works for rats but supposedly nice hate the smell of bleach so I bleached like every surface in my kitchen. I pretty much wanted to disinfect everything anyway. </p> <p>Hope the exterminator gets there soon! I just went to get my frying pan from the drawer under my oven, only to discover my oven mitts chewed on, my frying pan chewed on and mouse poop in it!! </p> <p>HELP! I have never encountered anything like this before, and I have no idea what to do! Do I need to throw out everything that was in that drawer? Wash it all? Get traps? </p> <p>Any advice is good advice! </p>
