I don't know why but the idea of such fresh milk from human OR cow (or goat, etc) freaks me out. If forced to I would try it, but I wouldn't choose to try it on my own! Also, once I made LO pancakes using BM instead of cow's milk. We were out of milk and I was just cooking for her, so I figured what the heck! I tried a bite, it just tasted like pancake. My husband thought it was weird. While preggers, I thought I would be all gung-ho about it and try a lot, but then once I actually got my milk, I was grossed out by it. Both DH and I have tried mine, though...much sweeter than I thought it would be! My FIL jokes about using MIL's breast milk in his coffee once or twice when she was nursing...she's neither confirmed nor denied it, but from the look on her face I think he was being serious... Have you tasted your own breast milk? Has your SO?
