It took him about 3 days to fully adjust, and the first day was the hardest!</p> <p>ETA: I do think, for some babies, a replacement items helps keep their hands occupied and their arms down. For DS, he twines his fingers through the blanket; for DD, she used a lovey. I really don't know if it's the rolling or the lack of swaddle that's causing her inability to sleep.</p> <p>We didn't go cold turkey. For about 2 months, we had been leaving one arm out (ever since she found her fingers to self-soothe). This morning was the first time we put her in a sleep sack. </p> <p>I know many had immediate success swaddle-weaning cold turkey, but i want to hear from any moms whose LOs took a while to adjust to sleeping without a swaddle. What should i expect and how long will it take? Is this the end of her two hour naps? </p>
