Totally normal! It's called vasovagal syncope, basically fight or flight mechanism and your blood pools in your extremities leaving your brain without enough oxygen. Next time try flexing and relaxing your arm and leg muscles over and over. This happens to me in medical settings a lot. It sucks!

That is awful. Maybe it's like a white coat syndrome or something?

Alright so I have always been known to be an easy fainter. Mainly only when I get overheated, or if I'm going to be given a shot/IV. Well it's starting to happen more! And for no reason at all!

Yesterday I brought my sister to go and get her wisdom teeth out. Her boyfriend was there with me too. So my sister gets done and we go back to the recovery room with her. So it's the 3 of us in there and then the doctor comes in and is just explaining like her pain mess and just what do do with her for the next couple of days. Everything is going fine, then all of a sudden I start getting a little light headed, so I sit down. Next thing I know and my sisters oral surgeon is holding me up because I passed out! Ugh....I felt fine when I woke up, and I was out for maybe 3 seconds. But then they had me hooked up to the blood pressure monitor, oxygen, and were giving me juice. I felt sooooo stupid.

Thankfully her boyfriend was there too because they didn't feel safe having me drive home so he had to.

I'm going to go to the doctor, but I just feel dumb, I don't know what my triggers are! And for some reason they mostly always happen when I'm in a medical setting. I'm not a queasy person, blood doesn't bother me at all. Only needles. So it's just like okay, "hey Doctor, I pass out for no reason frequently, what's wrong with me?" I just feel dumb! Hahahaha

I'm just ranting here and annoyed with my body! It also makes me wonder/worried whenever I do get pregnant, how will I be then, I don't want it to ever harm the baby....
