He's gotten really into the colored khaki type which I really like, but he almost tried to buy THE ugliest pair of purple/grey denim the other day and I just had to put my foot down. So ugly. He wears the athletic shorts a lot--biking and running, mostly--but rarely wears the cargo shorts.
